Planning A Visit To NHBC

Visiting a church for the very first time can be an exciting thing, but it can also be an intimidating experience. All kinds of questions come to the front of your mind. Where do I go when I get there? Is there anything for my kids? What should I wear? What should I expect? Because of all of these questions, we want to provide answers for them so that your visit to New Heights Baptist Church is enjoyable and refreshing for your entire family. Below are some of the answers to these questions.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us, or to schedule a visit, click here.

Is there a nursery available?

Yes. We do have a nursery available for children ages newborn-3 years old. You will find a safe, secure environment where every volunteer is concerned with the well being of your child. To ensure a high level of safety, each of our volunteers has been approved through a screening process of NHBC.

To ensure the safety and security of your child, the parent/guardian of each child must sign him/her into the nursery and sign him/her out before leaving. Only those listed on the form are allowed to pick the child up from the nursery. You may be asked to show ID when picking your child up if the nursery worker does not recognize you. You will also be asked to list specific needs or allergies your child may have. Our volunteers will contact you during the service if the need arises.

If you have any questions about our nursery, please contact us!

What should I expect in the worship service?

Our worship service always begins with Christ-honoring music and worship. It is our practice to take up an offering in the worship service. Please do not feel that you must give in this offering. Our church is supported solely upon the giving of our church family, and we do not expect you as our guest to put any money in the offering plate. Our services always conclude with a message that is based out of the Word of God.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at New Heights Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday" dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at NHBC.

What should I expect when I arrive?

When you arrive at New Heights Baptist Church, you will find the main parking area located around our church building. You will find our church family is ready to help and assist you. As you enter our church, greeters will assist you in escorting every member of your family to their age-appropriate class if needed.
